Job Title: TIG Welder
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour + DOE (Depending on Experience)
Shift: M-F, 8am to 5pm, OT as required
Location: Humble, TX 77396
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on precision welding of thin-gauge stainless steel and carbon steel. You will work on high-quality components requiring clean, cosmetically appealing welds without burn-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and carbon steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Set up and adjust TIG welding machines based on material thickness.
- Clamp, component-fit, and tack-weld parts before final welding.
- Inspect finished welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain clean equipment and a safe work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specifically with thin materials.
- Strong ability to weld stainless steel and carbon steel (CS).
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and structural schematics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Must pass an on-site TIG welding test on thin gauge metal.
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is a plus
