Residential Service Journeyman Electrician (Texas Licensed)

TLC Electrical is adding a Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician to our residential and light commercial service team across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This is a field-first role-your fully stocked service van goes home with you, and your workday begins at your first stop instead of our Southlake shop.

A day in your boots

You open your company iPad, review the ServiceTitan schedule, and roll from your driveway to the first call. Throughout the day, you'll diagnose issues, communicate clear options to customers, and deliver clean, code-compliant installations.

• Troubleshoot and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems
• Complete panel and service upgrades, EV charger (EVSE) installs, lighting projects, and swimming pool electrical work
• Handle device replacements and code corrections
• Perform scoped and prepped installs with materials ready to go
• Present findings professionally and treat homes with care
• Consistently deliver safe, clean, NEC-compliant results

Tools and support that keep you moving

• Take-home service van and gas card
• Company iPad running ServiceTitan and company-provided uniforms
• Apprentice and operations support to cut material runs and windshield time

Pay and benefits

• $38-$52 per hour, plus a performance-based team bonus
• Health, dental, and vision benefits starting after 60 days
• Paid training, continuing education, and license renewal
• Additional pay for rotating on-call coverage

What you bring

• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician license in good standing
• 1-5 years of residential or light commercial experience
• Proven installation, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair ability
• Your own hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license with an insurable record
• Comfort working in attics/crawl spaces, on ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs
