Job Summary Are you an experienced welder looking to join a reputable local fabrication company? We're seeking a MIG Welder to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll help produce large concrete mixers and other heavy-duty components used in cement trucks and industrial applications. You'll weld and assemble parts according to detailed work instructions and blueprints, ensuring strong, high-quality welds that meet production standards.

What You'll Be Doing As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing MIG welding: Weld components and assemblies per job specifications using gas metal arc welding equipment.
- Inspecting and reworking welds: Ensure all welds meet quality standards and rework as needed.
- Reading blueprints and instructions: Follow detailed diagrams and samples to complete each job accurately.
- Maintaining a clean workspace: Perform general housekeeping and assist with shop upkeep as needed.
- Collaborating with team members: Support production goals and communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
- Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience required.
- Stick welding experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
- Must have your own welding helmet.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures precision and quality in every weld.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Understands fabrication processes and equipment operation.
- Teamwork & Communication: Works effectively with others to meet production goals.
