Key Requirements:

• Job Responsibilities
  • Shovel, rake, lute (loop), spread, and level hot mix asphalt.
  • Distribute asphalt to the proper depth, grade, and thickness.
  • Perform hand leveling and finishing to ensure smooth, even pavement surfaces.
  • Identify and correct low spots, uneven areas, and excess asphalt.
  • Match asphalt joints to existing pavement, curbs, and driveways.
  • Shovel and finish asphalt in areas paving equipment cannot reach.
  • Work alongside paver operators, screed operators, and roller crews.
  • Maintain tools and follow all job-site safety procedures.
• Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of asphalt raking, shoveling, luting, or finishing experience required.
  • Must have hands-on experience leveling and spreading hot mix asphalt.
  • Experience operating an asphalt roller is a plus.
  • Ability to understand grading and asphalt depth requirements.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical labor.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and humidity.
  • Must be available for 10+ hour shifts, early mornings, occasional nights, and weekends.
  • Must be dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Some weekends
