The Journeyman Plumber will undertake a variety of plumbing projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial settings. Working mainly within local areas, the role involves collaboration with teams of varying sizes-from small groups to larger crews-and requires proficiency with standard plumbing tools as well as mobile applications for scheduling and reporting. This position emphasizes hands-on system installation, maintenance, repair, and strict adherence to plumbing codes to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Diagnose and repair leaks and other plumbing issues efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution
• Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot system problems and implement effective solutions
• Provide excellent customer service and communication on-site
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct water testing and detailed site inspections
• Collaborate with medium to large teams to complete projects on time

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in plumbing and pipefitting
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Expertise with drainage and water supply systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
• Effective communication skills for customer interaction
