- Under minimal supervision, safely and efficiently backfill and compact pipe trench to specifications, changing/properly using compaction attachments as required
- Ability to work hourly full time, generally 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays
- More/less hours may be required based on weather conditions and project demands
- Winter layoff may occur annually
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of at least 18 years of age

- Minimum of one year experience working in an excavator
- Physical Requirements:
- Sit for long periods of time
- Get out of equipment and assist ground personnel as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Be able to see (naturally or with correction)
- Experience operating an excavator in the underground utility construction industry preferred
- High school education or equivalent preferred
