Install new equipment and be responsible for start-up and testing.</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Successful candidates will have a strong troubleshooting ability in the mechanical and electrical control field to include PLCs, variable frequency drives, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, belting, valves, and basic blueprint reading. We are looking for a team player who can work in a fast paced and challenging environment. A candidate who is physically able to perform the duties of the job such as move heavy equipment/machinery rigging, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities including but not limited to:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot failures and repairs/maintains pumping station and plant equipment</li><li>Fabricate new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed</li><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures</li><li>Manage all required paperwork and records and prepare documentation (forms, reports, ect.) when needed</li><li>Handle new and retrofit construction projects</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>Journeyman's license preferred</li><li>Understands the NFPA70 NEC book</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical skills</li><li>Ability to run conduit and pull wire, i.e. perform normal tasks of an electrician</li><li>Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed</li><li>Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others</li><li>Able to work independently on projects and as a member of a team</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>Highly professional and dependable</li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule which could include a weekend day or holiday (rare)</li><li>Basic smartphone, computer and internet skills</li></ul><p><b><strong> Candidates must have a valid VA driver's license and their own transportation to and from office or job site daily.
