Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Perform pipe threading and cutting as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and electricians during remodeling or new construction projects
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Respond to plumbing emergencies or service calls in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
