Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure consistency across all accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and assist co-workers in Invoicing.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Support payroll processing and governmental accounting requirements as needed.
- AIA for Construction Payroll.
- Waivers
- Notary a Plus (We do have a place where you can go to get these done)
- Certified Payroll done and sent out Originals to corresponding Companies
- Certified Payroll to submit in DOL's Portal
- Other Portals that need invoices to be submitted
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting efficiently.
