Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain and determine the appropriate general ledger coding of transactions
• Create journal entries and prepare financial reports on a timely basis
• Code invoices, set up new accounts and reconcile accounts in the accounting system
• Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits and address bank inquiries
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manage accounts receivable collections.
• Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Process ACH payments and wires
• Print and mail checks for vendor payments, check requests and reimbursements
• Process billing invoices for various Texas offices
• Verify and process 1099 vendor forms annually

Experience:

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
