We're Hiring: Sign Installer & Service Technician

Gainesville Neon is growing! We're looking for a motivated Sign Installer & Service Technician to join our team. Whether you're an experienced sign professional or an apprentice with electrical or mechanical experience, we're willing to train the right person.
This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly alike. You'll install, troubleshoot, repair, and service a variety of signs, lighting systems, and fixtures for some of the top brands in the retail, restaurant, hospitality, and financial industries.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders.
- Installing and servicing illuminated channel letters, building signs, pole signs, and other signage
- Troubleshooting electrical and lighting issues
- Working with ladders, lifts, and equipment at heights of 20+ feet
- Performing installation, maintenance, and repair work at a variety of locations throughout Florida
- Working directly with customers and representing Gainesville Neon professionally on job sites
- Managing multiple projects while maintaining our high standards for quality and safety
- Working as part of a team while also being comfortable taking ownership of your work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of electrical experience OR experience servicing internally illuminated channel letters, building signage, or pole signage
Sign industry experience is a plus, but not required
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A clean driving record
A valid driver's license
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, and work from ladders and elevated platforms
The ability to work on school campuses
CDL is a plus
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive pay based on experience (range $42,000- $73,000 annually)
Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
