Job description
Based in Newark, Delaware, you load up your service vehicle and head to a home where lights are flickering. You diagnose a tricky circuit, outline repair options, and provide a clear estimate. After lunch, you're at a small retail tenant fit out, bending conduit, setting a new panel, and reviewing a schematic to verify everything aligns with NEC requirements and will pass local inspections. At every stop, you're the on site professional face of the company-communicating clearly, keeping the workspace spotless, and delivering workmanship you're proud to sign your name to.
Your Impact- Independently troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems in homes and light commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts to plan work efficiently and to NEC standards.
- Serve as the primary on site contact-translate technical details for homeowners and business managers, build trust, and present straightforward pricing and repair options.
- Maintain a safe, orderly jobsite and ensure all work meets Delaware inspection requirements.
- Active Delaware Journeyman Electrician License.
- 4-5+ years of hands on experience across residential and light commercial projects (e.g., office buildouts, small retail).
- Proficiency with troubleshooting complex circuits, panel upgrades, running/bending conduit, and installing devices and fixtures.
- Excellent communication and client service skills; dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record; able to lift 50+ lbs and work safely on ladders or lifts.
