Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shifts: Multiple options available (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

A day in the life

You start your shift in a bright, temperature-controlled plant, reviewing the maintenance log and planning PMs to keep production humming. A line calls in a fault: you trace it through the PLC I/O, confirm a bad sensor, and swap it with precision. Later, you pull conduit for a new machine install, land conductors to code, and verify power at 120/208/240/480V. Before wrap-up, you complete lockout/tagout for a hydraulic repair, document your work, and hand off cleanly to the next shift-all with modern tools at your disposal.

What you'll do

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, and power distribution for manufacturing equipment to meet code and standards.
• Connect power and machine controls; verify proper operation of motors, drives, and safety circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, transformers, PLCs, relays, switches, sensors, and other electronic controls.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
• Replace electrical and mechanical parts as needed to restore operation.
• Execute preventative maintenance, inspections, and reliability-focused tasks to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout.

What sets you up for success

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrician License or Electro-Mechanical Degree required.
• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics; able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Comfort working on 120/208/240/480V systems.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
