Coffing Electric is hiring a Residential Electrician in Mt. Vernon.

Residential is all we do. We are a Knox County contractor booked four weeks out and hiring to get that down to two. Houses, service calls, and jobs that actually get finished.

What Your Day Looks Like

• New construction rough-in through finish, and remodels
• Service calls: panel and service changes, meters, disconnects
• Troubleshooting dead circuits, open neutrals, failed GFCIs
• Read prints, know code, pull a permit and check local requirements
• Varied work, a different job most days, not the same floor plan forty times in a row

The top of that range is what an experienced residential electrician who runs his own jobs and solves his own problems earns here. Where you land depends on what you can actually do.

What We Need From You

• Residential electrical experience, rough-in through finish
• Comfortable on a service call without someone over your shoulder
• Solid code knowledge and the ability to work without hand-holding
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Willing to complete a standard background check and drug screen
• Journeyman license is a plus, not required. If you are working toward it, we will help you finish.
