A well-established electrical contractor in the South Florida area is looking to add an Electrical Service Technician to its growing team in Ft. Myers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and taking ownership of their work.

The Electrical Service Technician will perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and smaller installations across a variety of commercial facilities throughout the Fort Myers and Southwest Florida market.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in commercial facilities
• Perform electrical service calls, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations
• Work with electrical panels, breakers, circuits, lighting systems, controls, receptacles, and other commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
• Complete smaller electrical installations, upgrades, and tenant improvement work as needed
• Communicate professionally with customers, facility personnel, project managers, and other team members
• Accurately document completed work, materials used, and additional work that may be required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
• Represent the company professionally while working independently at customer locations
