DescriptionTorgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. Scope of WorkTorgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Journeyman electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. PayBased on experience. Qualified Journeyman Electricians starting at $30.00+/hour. Hours40 or more per week TransportationTravel allowance provided, if required LodgingProvided if Required Req. ExperienceJourneyman 's License preffered but not required. Competition of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) required. Benefit PackagePaid time off, Paid holidays, 401K option with employer match, ESOP, and Health/Dental insurance. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment, (fit to work physical) and drug testing. Other Reqs- Ability to effectively Communicate- Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.- PPE required for all duties. Duties & TasksInstallation of Electrical systemsDirect and train apprentice to Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipmentInspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.Ability to interpret prints and able to generate RFI's for projectsOSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion)Quality Control electrical installationEnsuring jobsite safetyFill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performed Torgeson Electric Company is an equal opportunity employer.
