This role will take ownership of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals Prepare and maintain balance sheet and account reconciliations Support general ledger accounting and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP Manage fixed asset accounting, prepaids, and other balance sheet accounts Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities Support external audits and maintain accurate accounting documentation Review existing close processes and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement Partner closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager while independently managing assigned accounting responsibilities Requirements: 2+ years of professional accounting experience, including hands-on industry/corporate accounting At least 1 yr of Construction accounting experience Strong GL accounting with strong working knowledge of GAAP, month-end closing, journal entries, fixed assets and account reconciliations Financial statement preparation and external audit support experience ERP/accounting systems experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Preferred: CPA or CPA candidate Interested in hearing more?
