Employment & Labor Associate

Locations: Chicago, IL Atlanta, GA Dallas, TX Miami, FL Washington, D.C.

About the Role

This position focuses on representing employers in a wide range of employment and labor matters, including workplace investigations, discrimination, wage and hour, and compliance counseling. The associate will provide practical, solutions-oriented guidance to employers across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend employers in federal and state employment litigation.
• Advise on compliance with Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and state equivalents.
• Draft and negotiate employment, separation, and confidentiality agreements.
• Conduct internal investigations and provide training on workplace policies.
• Support M&A due diligence on employment and labor matters.

Qualifications & Skills

• JD and active bar membership.
• 3-7 years of labor and employment law experience.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.
• Experience counseling HR teams and corporate leadership preferred.
