Debt Capital Markets / Commercial Finance Associate - AmLaw 100 Firm
Location: Palo Alto, San Francisco or New York
Full-Time
Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Corporate Finance Associate with 1-5 years of experience in debt capital markets and/or commercial finance to join its Palo Alto office.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing borrowers or issuers in sophisticated financing transactions, including credit facilities, venture lending, leveraged buyouts, and debt offerings.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in debt capital markets, commercial finance, or corporate finance
- Borrower-side or issuer-side experience preferred
- Experience with single-lender and syndicated credit facilities
- Experience with venture lending transactions, leveraged buyouts, convertible notes, high-yield notes, investment-grade notes, and other structured financial instruments preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent drafting, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range is $225,000-$365,000, depending on experience and associate year level. Discretionary merit-based bonuses may also be awarded.
