Bring your brazing craft to a high-impact 3-6 month on-site project in Virginia. You'll help assemble the refrigeration and water subassemblies at the heart of commercial HVAC equipment-where precision, cleanliness, and heat control translate directly into reliability in the field.

Your Craft in Action

• Assemble and install refrigeration and water subassemblies for commercial HVAC units.
• Cut, bend, fit, and braze copper tubing; integrate refrigeration components per spec.
• Execute copper-to-copper, copper-to-stainless, and copper-to-brass brazes with an oxy-acetylene torch and silver-based filler materials.
• Routinely braze large-diameter piping-typically 2-1/8" to 4"+-while achieving leak-free quality.
• Work from prints, technical drawings, diagrams, BOMs, ECNs, and detailed work instructions to meet engineering intent.

What Sets You Up for Success

• 3+ years of recent commercial or industrial brazing experience (residential experience alone does not qualify).
• Demonstrated ability with large-diameter copper beyond residential norms.
• Fluent with oxy-acetylene torch work and silver-based brazing alloys.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings in both metric and imperial units.
• Knowledge of heat management, joint preparation, and mixed-metal brazing techniques.
• Background with refrigeration or commercial HVAC systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to top-tier quality and a safe work environment.
