Mig Welder - Second Shift - CC

A manufacturing company is seeking a Mig Welder who will train on first shift for a couple weeks and then work second shift from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Duties:

• Set-up and operate MIG welding equipment
• using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts with acceptable tolerances and standards
• Work from drawing/blueprints
• Regularly check work to verify dimensions, ensure compliance to specifications and make necessary adjustments or corrections
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment

Requirements:

• Must at least 1 year of MIG Welding experience
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and blueprints or drawings
• Must have the ability to regularly verify dimensions to ensure compliance to specification and make necessary adjustment
• Must be able to pay a strong attention to detail and quality
• Must have a welding helmet and steel toed boots
• Must be comfortable standing for long period of time and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Must have a strong work ethic
