Hiring: Business Developer/BDR
Location: Amarillo, TX
Salary: $40,000 $50,000/yr +Commissions
Schedule: Full-time Hybrid
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a driven Business Developer to generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face sales, networking, and consultative selling. This field-focused role requires a self-motivated sales professional who can build relationships with decision-makers, manage an active sales pipeline, identify client needs, and consistently develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business and acquire new client accounts
Prospect through outbound calls, face-to-face visits, networking, and referrals
Qualify prospects based on business needs, budget, and timelines
Conduct regular meetings and sales appointments with decision-makers
Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline
Develop and execute daily and weekly territory plans
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Identify opportunities for additional services and account growth
Track sales activity, follow-ups, and next steps within the CRM
Collaborate with internal teams to transition new business opportunities
Maintain knowledge of staffing industry practices and applicable employment regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 1 year of B2B sales or business development experience
Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
Experience with face-to-face sales and acquiring new clients
Excellent communication and consultative selling skills
Strong relationship-building and discovery skills
Self-motivated and results-driven
Ability to manage a high-volume sales activity schedule
Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
Valid driver's license required
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
