Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals, businesses, and other entities
- Communicate with clients to gather financial data and address accounting inquiries
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Assist senior CPAs and management with special projects and financial analysis
- Preparation of required tax filings including:
- Quarterly/annual payroll returns
- Monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
- Annual W2 and 1099 filings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm setting
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused, professional demeanor
