Job description
We are looking for a dependable and versatile Facilities Supervisor to help maintain a one-of-a-kind commercial facility located within a cave. This position offers hands-on work across a variety of general building maintenance and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, and general repairs.
- Inspect facility areas, identify issues, and resolve problems promptly
- Maintain clean, safe, and functional spaces throughout the facility.
- Assist with equipment moves or other physical tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors or service providers when necessary.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to spot safety concerns or maintenance needs.
- Repair and service lighting, electrical outlets, switches, and low-voltage systems.
- Install or fix fixtures, shelving, signage, and minor equipment.
- Track maintenance activities and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies on all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in general maintenance or handyman work (commercial experience a plus).
- Skilled in the use of tools and basic electrical and plumbing work.
- Comfortable working in enclosed, damp, or unconventional environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Physically able to lift, climb, crawl, and navigate confined or uneven areas.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
