Job description
Role Overview
Navon Corps LLC is seeking a motivated Junior AI Engineer Intern to support the design, development, and testing of generative AI and LLM-powered features. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for a student or early-career individual looking to build practical experience in applied AI engineering under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
AI & LLM Feature Development: Assist in building and testing generative AI features using frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar LLM toolkits.
API & Application Support: Support development of RESTful APIs and help integrate AI capabilities into existing or prototype applications.
Data Preparation: Assist with data ingestion, cleaning, and organization to ensure AI models and pipelines have accurate, well-structured inputs.
Prototyping & Testing: Participate in rapid prototyping of new AI features; run basic experiments and help document results to guide iteration.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of code, experiments, and processes for internal knowledge-sharing.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with engineering and product team members to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and communicate progress clearly.
Learning & Growth: Actively seek feedback from senior engineers, ask questions, and apply new concepts quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in Python (or a similar language).
Familiarity with, or strong interest in learning, LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain), APIs, and version control (Git).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus, not required.
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced team setting.
Self-motivated with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Internship Details
This is an unpaid internship intended to provide practical, resume-building experience in AI engineering.
Flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments; occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed to meet project deadlines.
Remote or hybrid work arrangement (specify based on actual setup).
