Job description
A chemical manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Plant Site HSE / PSM Manager to drive safety, environmental, and process safety performance across operations. This role partners with site leadership to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and build a strong safety culture across complex manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead HSE/PSM strategy to reduce incidents and improve overall site performance
Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM, Homeland Security, and HazMat regulations
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
Drive safety culture initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Oversee emergency response readiness and training programs
Lead audits, track findings, and ensure timely corrective actions
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary HSE/PSM team
Support sustainability goals and corporate safety initiatives
Qualifications:
BS in Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years Engineering/ EHS experience in Chemical / PSM regulated plants
5+ years in process safety/environmental leadership roles
Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, industrial hygiene, and regulatory compliance
