Location: Haltom City, TX Pay

• 1st Shift: $21.00-$25.75/hr
• 2nd Shift: $22.00-$26.75/hr
• Weekend Shift: $25.75/hr

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM; Saturdays as needed
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-3:30 AM; Saturdays as needed
• Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-5:30 PM

Location: Rhome, TX Pay

• $20.00-$25.75/hr

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
  Saturdays as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of welding experience
• Overhead and jib crane experience required
• Must successfully pass a 2G, T-Joint, and Carbon Arc Air test
• Experience with flux-core and metal-core welding
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, diagrams, work orders, and other instructions
• Knowledge of welding equipment, torches, Air Arc, grinders, and related tools
• Experience using temperature sticks and welding fillet gauges
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using wire welding equipment
• Weld steel components according to blueprints, layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions
• Weld in flat and horizontal positions
• Set up welding equipment and use jigs, fixtures, or hand layouts
• Work with fitters and fitter/welders to fabricate and assemble multi-component parts
• Operate forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders, cutting torches, and other job-related equipment
• Inspect welds and make corrections as needed to meet specifications
• Perform tack welding, clamping, grinding, heat bending, and bolting
• Maintain quality welds that meet production and UT requirements
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Meet production and quality expectations
• Work effectively as part of a team and assist with other duties as assigned

Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment and able to maintain both quality and productivity standards. A weld test will be administered as part of the hiring process.
