Job Title: Cash Applications Specialist

Location: Essex County NJ

Our client, a reputable organization based in Essex County, is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in handling cash applications, including printing daily cash receipts, processing cash deposits, and performing allocations in an ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Print and organize daily cash receipts for processing
• Process cash deposits accurately and efficiently
• Allocate cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts
• Reconcile cash receipts with the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve any cash application issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Generate reports and provide regular updates on cash application activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cash Applications Specialist or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge and experience with cash application processes and procedures
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for cash applications (mention specific ERP systems if applicable)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
