Laborer - Asheville, NC - Waste Management

Job Description Job Description Position Summary:

We are searching for a dependable Laborer to perform general manual labor and assist with daily operations. This position involves lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging, and other hands-on tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Lift, move, load, and unload materials and equipment.
• Assist with digging, filling, and other general labor tasks.
• Support team members with various manual labor activities.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous labor, warehouse, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly handle objects weighing less than 30 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working around dirt, odors, noise, and varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Compensation:

• $17.00 per hour
