Responsibilities
- Climb trees to preform pruning, trimming, and removals using industry standards techniques
- Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and crew leader
- Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients
- Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
- Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy
- Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems
- Removal of hazardous trees
- 1+ years of professional tree climbing experience required
- Proficient in rope and saddle climbing techniques (SRT/DRT)
- Experience with technical rigging and safe tree removals
- Knowledge in proper pruning standards
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards
- Valid drivers license required
- Strong communication skills
- Skilled in operating chainsaws, chippers, and heavy equipment
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
