Job Title: Deal Setup and Funding Analyst Location: Chicago, IL Work arrangement: 100% in office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interview process: Single panel interview via Zoom or in person. Job Description We are seeking a Deal Setup and Funding Analyst to join our dynamic team within Loan Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interpreting loan documentation, coordinating closings, and managing transaction pipelines and a proven ability to deliver accurate data, reconcile exceptions, and communicate changes to stakeholders. Responsibilities: Initiate collaboration across multiple teams to interpret loan documentation for accurate new deal processing. Own coordination of principal and fee-related closing payments. Gather all required documentation prior to deal closing in partnership with Transaction Coordinators and other stakeholders. Actively manage and prioritize a pipeline of assigned transactions. Govern and reconcile exception reports for recently closed transactions. Analyze amendments to existing agreements and deal structures and communicate changes to account managers. Maintain a low quality control error rate with consistent data accuracy. Required Skills & Qualifications: General understanding of finance and loan products. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with Front Office, Legal, and internal and external clients. Clear and professional communication skills.
