Structured Finance Senior Associate

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

Location: Hybrid (Chicago, IL - 3 Days Per Week)

The Company

A high-growth financial services organization is seeking a Structured Finance Senior Associate to join its funding and finance team. They leverage technology, data, and operational excellence to deliver innovative lending solutions while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and compliance. As the business continues to scale, this team plays a critical role in supporting financing activities and lender relationships. You will gain direct exposure to credit facilities, warehouse financing, and structured finance operations while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.

The Role

• Support day-to-day operations across credit facilities, including funding, collateral management, and reporting activities

• Prepare and review lender reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with facility requirements

• Monitor borrowing base calculations, eligibility criteria, concentration limits, and covenant compliance

• Analyse large datasets to evaluate facility performance and identify discrepancies, exceptions, or emerging trends

• Support lender requests and reporting requirements

• Translate facility data into clear reporting summaries and key business insights

• Maintain rigorous quality control standards across recurring reporting deliverables

• Investigate and reconcile data discrepancies independently

• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Risk teams

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in structured finance, private credit, specialty finance, lending operations, credit reporting, or financial reporting

• Experience supporting credit facilities, warehouse facilities, borrowing base calculations, or covenant monitoring

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets

• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve reporting discrepancies independently

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience preparing reporting for lenders, funding partners, investors, or internal stakeholders

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions

• Experience within consumer lending, fintech, specialty finance, or asset-backed lending environments is highly desirable

• Exposure to SQL or VBA is beneficial
