Fund Finance Manager, Private Equity Chicago or New York $165,000 to $175,000 base In office 4 days

Our client, a private investment firm, is hiring a Fund Finance Manager to oversee reporting and operations for its private equity funds.

Responsibilities

• Review the funds' quarterly and annual financials under US GAAP (ASC 946)
• Oversee the third-party administrator's work on NAV, partner capital, capital calls, distributions and waterfalls
• Build automated reporting and dashboards, and find AI use cases that cut manual work
• Support budgets, cash forecasting and capital activity for executive leadership
• Partner with valuation, investor relations, tax and compliance on audits, credit facility compliance and regulatory filings
• Review and mentor associates

Requirements

• CPA with public accounting experience plus time inside a fund, private equity preferred
• 6+ years of private funds experience
• Advanced Excel beyond lookups and pivots, with hands-on Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, Tableau or Alteryx
• Experience on data or automation workstreams
• Investran preferred
• Comfortable with constant change and long hours

The annual base salary range is $165,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
