Product Marketing Specialist - Korean/English Bilingual (35250)

Job Description

A global electrical equipment manufacturer based near the Buffalo Grove area of Chicago is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to support their operations. The ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales or marketing experience with industrial products, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.

Product Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage content creation of marketing and training materials (brochures, manuals, presentations) for sophisticated industrial equipment
• Communicate directly with headquarters in Korea to ensure global marketing strategies are in line with company goals, and ensure that product features are accurately represented
• Gather customer requirements to create new product specifications and assist in the development process
• Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new audiences for growth.
• Analyze marketing campaign analytics to assess their effectiveness, and recommend strategies for improvement
• Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies, informed by quantifiable metrics, profitability, and competitor analysis
• Facilitate communication between customers and product development team by monitoring product performance and integrating customer feedback
• Other duties as assigned

Product Marketing Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required
• 1 - 3 years of experience in marketing, product management, or a B2B sales environment, preferably with manufacturing or industrial products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean (including reading and writing), with the ability to synthesize and present information to a variety of audiences
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
