We are seeking an experienced Financial Aid Advisor to support students throughout the financial aid process. • Federal Central Processing System
  • Assist with construction and reconciliation of financial aid files for state and federal reporting.
  • Identify and manually reconcile discrepancies when system limitations prevent automated processing.

  • Coordinate with other departments to address day-to-day processing issues.
  • Maintain accurate financial aid data and documentation.
  • Provide professional and effective service to students and employees.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience where applicable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within financial aid or a closely related field.
  • Knowledge of higher education financial aid practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience analyzing and reconciling financial aid data.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and specialized computer systems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and student-service skills.

Ideal Background

Candidates with direct experience working in a college or university financial aid environment and hands-on exposure to financial aid eligibility, award processing, reconciliation, student counseling, and federal financial aid systems will be especially well aligned with this opportunity.
