Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a manufacturing company seeking a Senior Accountant to support its accounting operations and financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to own key aspects of the close, work closely with accounting leadership, and contribute ideas that improve processes.

What You'll Do:

• Manage assigned month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and resolve account discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze monthly results and variances.
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support year-end audits and prepare supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvements and help maintain effective internal controls.
• Partner with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a combination of both.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
• Attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA designation or progress toward certification.
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits.
