Environmental Services Manager

Nashville, TN Permanent Full-time

I'm working with a well-established, 100% employee-owned engineering and consulting firm that is building a brand new environmental team in Nashville. They're looking for an experienced environmental leader to build it, grow it and run it.

This is a rare chance to shape a team from day one. You'll have strong backing from regional leadership and established offices nearby to lean on, while building something that is genuinely yours.

The Nashville team supports land and infrastructure development, roads and bridges, and public and private projects for local governments, school districts and developers.

What you'll be doing:

- Building, leading and mentoring a new environmental team

- Overseeing Phase I/II ESAs, hazardous materials, lead and asbestos assessments, environmental compliance and site investigations

- Driving performance across safety, quality, people development, financial results and risk management

- Resourcing and scheduling staff to maximise utilisation and profitability

- Managing clients and liaising with regulators

- Growing the firm's presence in Nashville through local organisations, industry groups and networking

- Working with PMs and leaders across other service lines to win and deliver projects

What they're looking for:

- 8+ years conducting and managing environmental projects (Phase I/II ESAs, hazmat, lead/asbestos, compliance, site investigations)

- Experience leading and developing people

- A good understanding of safety, quality, business metrics and risk management

- Strong communication with clients, staff and regulators

- Business development experience, or a real appetite to grow it

- Bachelor's in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field

- A TN PE or PG is preferred but not required. Further environmental certifications are a plus
