About the firm:
A real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, preserving, and operating affordable multifamily housing across the United States, particularly in the Southeast and West. The firm invests in communities serving families and seniors, including properties supported by Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Section 8 programs. Its strategy combines acquisitions, property improvements, and active asset management to preserve affordability and strengthen long-term property performance.
About the role:
- Monitor property performance, including occupancy, rent collections, operating expenses, and cash flow across the affordable housing portfolio.
- Review monthly financial statements, compare results against budgets, and investigate variances with property managers.
- Support annual budgets, business plans, and capital improvement projects, tracking spending and progress.
- Coordinate with property managers and compliance teams to monitor LIHTC restrictions, Section 8 requirements, and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare investor and lender reports and support refinancing, valuations, and property dispositions.
