Lawn Maintenance Professional

We're seeking an experienced lawn maintenance professional with at least three years of experience servicing commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate is skilled in mowing, trimming, edging, and operating and maintaining lawn-care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge properties to a high standard.
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment, including sharpening mower blades and performing oil changes.
• Help plan mowing routes and track customer service schedules.
• Keep customer and billing records up to date.
• Provide excellent customer service and support sales efforts.
• Lead by example, work well with others, and maintain a neat appearance and clean uniform.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, and report damage, mechanical issues, or missing items promptly.
• Secure equipment and tools during transport, at job sites, and when stored.
• Follow company procedures for equipment use, maintenance, and storage.
• Takes responsibility for company equipment and follows safe handling and security procedures.
• Complete the company's equipment and vehicle checklist each morning before work begins.
• Complete the weekly equipment damage assessment and promptly report any damage, mechanical issues, or missing items.
• Secure equipment and tools during transport, at job sites, and when stored, following company procedures.

Qualifications

• At least three years of commercial and residential lawn maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for coverage under the company's auto insurance policy.
• Strong equipment operation and maintenance skills.
• Professional manner, reliability, and good communication skills.
• Customer-service or sales experience preferred.
• Reliable about completing required checklists and following equipment-care and security procedures."
• References required.

Schedule and pay The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Longer days may sometimes be needed to complete scheduled work. Weekend make-up work may also be required when necessary. Pay is hourly, with overtime paid for hours worked over 40 in a workweek, plus commission on new sales.
