Role Overview
As our Lead Commercial Service Technician, you will:
- Service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems
- Lead and mentor developing technicians, helping shape the next generation of talent
- Play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Licensing & Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Recognized technical training
- EPA certification
- Pre hire drug screen and background check
Technical Skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, O&M manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Ability to draft routine service reports
Comfortable with the physical demands of the role
Familiarity with:
o Commercial package units (all sizes)
o Water source heat pumps
o Heat exchangers, pumps, boilers, chillers
o Control valves
o Building automation and control systems
Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills
Professional Traits
Team oriented with a customer first mindset
Flexible with overtime, on call rotation, and occasional weekends
Willing to take on leadership responsibilities
Committed to delivering service that exceeds expectations
Understanding of hydronic systems and water treatment
