Residential Service HVAC Technician

You'll be out in the field diagnosing problems, repairing and maintaining residential HVAC systems in customers' homes. This is a service-based role, not just installing new systems-you'll need to think, communicate, and solve problems on every call.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose issues on:
• Furnaces (Gas and Oil), Heat pumps, Central AC systems, Mini-splits, Boilers (Gas and Oil), Geothermal Heat Pumps, etc
• Clearly explain the problem and solution to the customer
• Perform repairs including electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical components
• Complete preventative maintenance per company checklist
• Test system performance after every repair (temperature split, static pressure, amp draw, etc.)
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently before leaving
• Keep your truck stocked and organized
• Communicate with the office about job status and schedule changes
• Take photos and write clear job notes before closing out each job
• Collect payment when job is completed.
