Since 2002, SAMS Heating and Air Conditioning has provided dependable heating and cooling services to homeowners throughout Edwardsburg, Michigan, and the surrounding communities. We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and treating customers honestly.
At SAMS, technicians are not expected to use high-pressure sales tactics. Our focus is on identifying the problem, explaining the available options, and helping each homeowner choose the solution that is right for them. We also believe work should leave room for life outside the job, which is why we offer take-home vans and a thoughtfully managed rotating on-call schedule.
New after-hours calls stop coming in at 9:00 p.m. Technicians may occasionally need to finish a job after that time, but weekend hours are limited so you can rest, sleep in, and still enjoy your evenings.
Compensation
$26-$34 per hour, depending on experience, plus SPIFF opportunities.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
- Troubleshoot equipment accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
- Explain findings and repair options clearly to homeowners
- Complete high-quality work with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate service records using company-provided technology
- Care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Represent SAMS with professionalism, reliability, and integrity
What You'll Bring
- At least four years of residential HVAC service experience
- Current EPA certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- A dependable, team-focused attitude
- A commitment to honest service and quality workmanship
