Brick Layer Helper

Job Description Job Description CDR General Services is currently hiring a dependable Bricklayer Helper to support masonry projects in New Orleans, LA. This position assists experienced Bricklayers with material preparation, jobsite organization, and daily masonry activities.
JobDetails Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare mortar.
• Carry and stage bricks, blocks, tools, and other materials.
• Assist Bricklayers during installation and masonry work.
• Set up, organize, and clean work areas.
• Use basic hand and power tools as required.
• Perform general labor duties related to masonry work.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous masonry or construction experience is preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials.
• Willingness to learn and assist experienced Bricklayers.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Must be available for overtime and Sundays as needed.
