The Auto Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles, with a primary focus on reliable fleet maintenance and efficient troubleshooting. Reporting to the General Manager, this role offers a pathway to advance into a Equipment Manager position.

Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify repair needs.

1. Complete preventive maintenance and oil changes for fleet vehicles.
2. Repair and service brake systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
3. Provide tire service and other routine fleet vehicle repairs.
4. Order and identify parts needed for service and repairs.
5. Document completed repairs, maintenance activities, and diagnostic findings.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive technology certificate or diploma.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics and OBD-II scanning.
• Knowledge of brake systems, engine repair, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Parts identification and strong problem-solving skills.
