We need someone who knows their way around diesel equipment, can troubleshoot problems, and is comfortable handling a repair from start to finish without needing constant supervision.
You'll be working in our new, modern shop with plenty of lighting and air conditioning during the summer. We take pride in providing a good place to work, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work.
What You'll Do

- Perform both shop repairs and on-site service calls.
- Handle repairs from initial diagnosis through completion and testing.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other equipment issues.
- Determine what needs to be repaired and get the job done safely and efficiently.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty mechanic.
- Ability to work independently and see repairs through to completion.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A dependable work ethic and pride in doing quality work.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- CDL Class B is preferred.
- New York State Motor Vehicle Inspector License is preferred.
Pay & Benefits
- $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Full-time employment.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits available.
- Paid time off (PTO).
- New, modern, well-lit shop with air conditioning in the summer.
- A professional work environment where you can put your skills to use and work independently.
Who Will Be a Good Fit?
We're looking for someone who knows their trade, can figure out a problem, and doesn't need to be told every step of the way. You should be comfortable working both in the shop and out in the field, able to manage your workload, and committed to doing the job right the first time.
If you're an experienced diesel mechanic looking for good hourly pay, benefits, and a comfortable place to work, we'd like to hear from you.
Apply today! We look forward to meeting you.
