Job Description Job Description Shop Laborer Location: Livonia, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour Job Summary We're seeking a hardworking and dependable Shop Laborer to join a well-established, family-owned company in Livonia, MI. In this role, you'll assist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation preparation of custom awnings, railings, sunrooms, and screen rooms. What You'll Be Doing As a Shop Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
Assembly & Fabrication Support: Assist with the construction and preparation of awnings, railings, sunrooms, screen rooms, and other custom products using hand and power tools.
Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the shop while ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and efficient.
Installation Assistance: Support installation crews by preparing materials, gathering tools, and assisting with projects as needed both in the shop and at job sites.
In addition, you will read and follow work instructions, assist with measuring and cutting materials, perform general shop duties, and support other projects as assigned. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:

• Experience using hand tools and power tools required.
• Previous experience in construction, roofing, fencing, carpentry, installation, or related trades is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
