Key Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or willing to get it
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work under supervision, and collaborate with a team.
• Previous construction, electrical, or telecommunications experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with tools and mechanical equipment preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with Central Office decommissioning and equipment removal.
• Support approved Method of Procedures (MOPs) under supervision.
• Help remove telecom equipment, including bays, cabinets, relay racks, and transport equipment.
• Assist with cable mining, identification, tracing, labeling, and removal of abandoned fiber, copper, and coax cables.
• Support dismantling overhead infrastructure, palletizing equipment, and sorting recyclable materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Participate in safety briefings and follow OSHA standards and company policies.
  
• This position involves strenuous physical activity and requires the ability to:
• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and overhead cable racks.
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Work in confined spaces and challenging field conditions when required.
• Maintain the physical stamina necessary to safely perform all essential job functions
