Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer
Location: Phoenix, AZPay: $30-$37/hr DOEStart: ASAP
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installers to join our team in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience and be experienced with the installation of ductwork and HVAC systems on commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
Install, assemble, and seal ductwork according to plans and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, HVAC plans, and shop drawings
Install duct fittings, transitions, dampers, louvers, and related components
Measure, fabricate, and modify sheet metal as needed
Work with HVAC equipment and associated duct systems
Coordinate with HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trades
Maintain quality and production standards on commercial jobsites
Follow all jobsite safety requirements and procedures
Requirements
5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience required
Strong knowledge of commercial ductwork installation
Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and drawings
Experience with commercial construction projects
Ability to measure, lay out, and install sheet metal accurately
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and installation practices
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass required background and drug screening
