CRC is seeking a dedicated Scraper Operator to join our team in a fast-paced yard environment. This physically intensive role involves handling recyclable materials outdoors, including on hot days, and requires the ability to lift 75-100 pounds. The Scraper Operator will report to the Yard Supervisor and Operations Manager and will not be required to travel between work sites.

Medical insurance available after 3 months of working, or during next available open enrollment.

All salaries listed are STARTING salaries.

Responsibilities

• Stripping wire on our wire stripping machine (outdoors, but shaded in a tent)
• Operate forklift and help organize and sort yard.
• Handle and move materials throughout the yard.
• Sort recyclable materials efficiently and safely.
• Prepare materials for loading.
• Operate loaders and forklifts alongside scraper equipment.
• Assist in loading trucks for shipments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in scraper operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
• Experience with scraper equipment operation and material handling (preferred, not required)
• Ability to perform manual lifting of 75-100 pounds (mandatory).
• Physical stamina for intensive outdoor work.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures, including hot conditions.
• Spanish or other languages preferred, but not required.

Job includes a 2-week trial period followed by increased hours and a permenant position here.
