Primary Skill: RSA Archer / Archer IRM Platform Administration

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Archer Platform Engineer/Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise Archer environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in Archer platform administration, Archer Control Panel, platform upgrades and maintenance, production troubleshooting, and Archer database analysis using SQL.

The ideal candidate will be capable of independently diagnosing complex platform issues, collaborating with infrastructure and database teams, and ensuring the Archer platform remains stable, secure, resilient, performant, and operationally

efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and support enterprise Archer environments across Production and lower environments.
  • Demonstrate strong hands-on knowledge of the Archer Control Panel, including configuration, services, job processing, logging, authentication/integration settings, and platform troubleshooting.
  • Monitor overall platform health, availability, performance, and capacity and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of Archer production incidents involving application, web/application servers, database, integrations, APIs, data feeds, and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Understand the Archer database architecture/data model sufficiently to investigate application and platform issues.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis while following appropriate production controls.
  • Partner with DBA teams to troubleshoot database performance, blocking, latency, long-running queries, storage/capacity, and other SQL Server-related issues affecting Archer.
  • Support Archer version upgrades, patches and hotfixes, including upgrade planning, dependency assessment, environment readiness, testing, implementation, validation, and post-production support.
  • Support Disaster Recovery and resiliency exercises, including readiness, execution, validation, troubleshooting, and remediation.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data feeds, APIs/integrations, scheduled jobs, notifications, authentication, certificates, and other platform services.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement sustainable solutions rather than relying on short-term fixes.
  • Support platform vulnerability remediation, certificate lifecycle management, technology risk, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and platform configuration documentation.
  • Participate in production deployments, change-management activities, incident management, and problem-management processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with application developers, Archer engineers, DBAs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, product, and business teams.
